The Meeting Room feature lets you create threaded
discussion forums to plan and debate. You can login at any time and add
comments, respond to others comments or start a new discussion.
The Meeting Room discussion threads are fully searchable and can be saved as XML files. Users and moderators can attach relevant documents and
e-mails. Discussion participants are immediately notified of updates or
changes. Each discussion
includes a summary as well as an area to outline follow up actions and plans.
The Meeting Room discussions can be public or private. This feature is included in the Wintility Pro package, so users don’t need to buy additional components!

All revisers are sent instant messages and e-mail notifications.
A simple check-in and check-out process prevents possible duplication and an easy to understand document
summary lets revisers closely monitor the entire process.

You can easily revert to previous versions if necessary.
To simplify collaboration, Wintility allows you to add separate
documents to the version control of another. This is
essential when clients or collaborators receive and alter documents
through email. Wintility's version control permits the received document to be
included as a version of the current one.

Wintility offers full document tracking. You can verify which users
cataloged, opened, altered or deleted any document in the Wintility
workspace.

+ Find high-traffic documents instantly
The Favorites tool lets your workgroup create a list of up
to 50 high traffic documents for each workspace that all workgroup members
can access with one click. The
Favorites list eliminates over-filled inboxes and duplicated information
caused by documents being attached to mail messages and forwarded.
The Recent tool lists the most recently accessed files.
You can easily monitor all documents in use by your workgroup.

You can make your information accessible to your
workgroup within and outside the office.
Network - Wintility Pro can be installed on your network server,
and made available to your colleagues.
Intranet/Internet - You can create your organizational structure in
Wintility Pro and publish it on the Intranet/Internet with the addition of the
WebWintility
module. It can then be accessed using only
a browser. You can publish using either your own in-house server or through
our public portal at web.wintility.com. In either case, you do not need to move any documents to
outside servers.

Security
Limit the number of publishers for an official document
Administrators can easily determine who has the ability to access, view, add documents or alter information in a particular Catalog.

Finalize documents
To ensure that revised and concluded documents are not altered in any way,
administrators can finalize documents with a single click. Finalized documents
can be accessed as they normally would be but their content cannot be
changed.
Network publication security
The Wintility Guard module offers an additional level of security for the
Wintility Pro workspace. It simplifies document protection by creating an exclusive access area for authorized users. It blocks all other possible paths to a document.
You can easily create a secure area any place in the network and prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information. Administrative users can assign three levels of access to any document – read only, read and write and full access.

Intranet/Internet publishing security
The WebWintility module features a proprietary protocol that allows remote users to access
your information in the Wintility Pro workspace.
This process is subject to three levels of security.
Firewall level: The WebWintility target Catalogs are protected by the company firewall and
are not accessed directly through the Internet, only through the WebWintility Protocol Server.
User Authorization Level: The user needs a password to access Catalogs and solicit information.
This authentication is done by consulting the WebWintility machine register within the company.
Profile based access: The Catalog administrator defines profiles for all those who will access documents.
Through these profiles, the administrator defines exactly which parts of the Catalog are made available to each user
or group. All solicitations are recorded in a history file.
